Hey there
I thought it was time for a little 'spring clean' so there are a few changes to the site this month...
Firstly, you'll notice the 'recently added' section to the left. New additions to the site will be appearing here as well as in the main galleries- click the image for a full view.
Secondly, the image displays have been updated- mousing over now gives a little info about each piece. I've added a handful of new images too. The 'links' and 'client list' sections have also been updated.
A huge thankyou goes out to Lance, who continues to be my personal web wizard despite living on the other side of the globe- muchas gracias hombre!

Hello
I've just uploaded some character designs from a personal project based on the cult film 'Jason and the Argonauts'- click thumbnail 2 in the illustrations gallery for a look.
In other news...
Two of my good friends and fellow illustrators, Guido Thum and Andy Shaw, are having a joint exhibition of drawings at Pixelink Gallery in Newtown, Wellington. The show is entitled 'Line' and runs from th 2nd to the 20th of September. I've had the chance to check out some of the works being featured and they are AMAZING- be sure to get down there for a look if you're in the capital. Biography
I grew up in rural North Otago, New Zealand. I have had an interest in the visual arts ever since the time I 'got creative' all over the wall of a relative's bedroom with her lipstick, at the tender age of three.
While at primary school I was tutored by a local artist named Burns Pollock in his studio- a wonderland of art books and materials, of cobwebs and shelves full of otherworldly things. All of which were fascinating for an aspiring young artist like myself. Burns' teachings and technical wizardry have remained a huge inspiation ever since.
I gained a Bachelor of Design with honours from Massey University in 2005, majoring in Illustration. I am currently living in Wellington, NZ, and work as a freelance illustrator and concept artist. I have worked on projects for various clients and enjoy working in a range of different styles and media.
I also like swimming, movies, coffee, discovery channel, my mac, diving, reading, water skiing, listening to music, warm days, cold beer and relaxing with friends and flatmates.
